In the Salzburg Sportwelt itself well-equipped MTB tours await you, including tricky trails that can often be combined with a stop at one of the numerous lakes. Along the tour to Frauenalm there is also a lake to cool down - the lake Flachauwinkel. The ascent to the Frauenalm is moderately steep to steep. On the gravelly forest road you work your way up to the Frauenalm (1685 meters), which invites you to a hearty snack. Our tip: home-made bread with home-cooked butter and Radstädter cheese. Here you have already made the bulk of the climb. Only about 100 vertical meters are to be overcome to the highest point. Then follows a fantastic descent. At the Flying Mozart the bike park can be used as a downhill track. With a subsequent ascent with the Wagrain mountain railways, the tour can be continued downhill. It goes past the barrier and over the parking lot towards the main road back to the hotel.

The Zugspitzarena offers a variety of challenging single trails in front of an impressive backdrop. Around Lermoos, there are a few particularly fine trails to discover. The backdrop of the 2,962 meter high Zugspitze with its flanks that are reminiscent of the Dolomites, is breathtaking. The trails around the Zugspitze are also impressive. Of the numerous around Lermoos, Bichlbach or Biberwier the Blindsee Trail is certainly one of the most demanding. If you are looking for the complete Enduro experience, you will get your money's worth here. The "Sporthotel unser LOISACH" is located at the foot of the Zugspitze in Lermoos in Tyrol. From here, you roll relaxed to the valley station of the Grubigsteinbahn, which brings you and your bike to the actual start of the tour at over 2,000 meters altitude. Once at the top, the trail fun begins, which you can crown half way with a jump into the cool waters of the blind lake. Then you roll back loosely to Lermoos, where you are already expected. The hosts Hillo and Karl Rieder are passionate athletes and know what tired bikers need after a day in the saddle: a biker hotspot of the extra class with many great offers, culinary and the Loisach Spa to relax after your tour. You can find information about the hotel here: qr.i-mts.net/m9j21bs.

This tour is just right for you, if you want to enjoy nature beyond the bike park bustle. Although she has some altitude, but otherwise is rather simple. You ride on quiet dirt roads, old cart paths, trails and single trails and enjoy the view of rugged cliffs, impressive gorges and babbling mountain streams. On the way back there is a stop in the mining open-air museum in Gurgltal - then you roll back to the starting point on flat paths. A quiet tour for connoisseurs! To get from the Sporthotel our LOISACH (qr.i-mts.net/m9j21bs) in Lermoos to the starting point of this beautiful tour, it is recommended to take the post bus. If you are on holiday in the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena and have a guest card, this is even free!

The Vinschgau is ideally located between the Ötztal Alps in the north and the glacier giants around the Ortler in the south. The numerous MTB tours can be easily reached by mountain railway or by well-organized shuttle services. For the round from Naturns to Vigiljoch and back over the Stuanbruch Trail, you do not need a shuttle service. The tour starts directly from the Hotel Lindenhof and you earn every single altitude by your own efforts. To reach the stage destination of the tour, the Vigiljoch, you can take it easy. On the way many beautiful vantage points are waiting for you and also one or the other refreshments. So the long ascent goes by in a flash and is demanding, but all the more enjoyable. At the top you really deserve the breathtaking view! While you still let your gaze wander into the marvelous mountain world, you are looking forward to the second part of the tour: From now on it is almost only downhill. At first rather leisurely, later steeper on the Stuanbruch Trail. Back in the valley, you will then follow the picturesque Etsch River for a few kilometers before you can expect an extensive after-bike wellness program at the DolceVita Resort Lindenhof. The offers of the hotel can be found here: qr.i-mts.net/mdlauw7.Tip: If you do not feel like the long driveway, you can shorten this tour simply with the help of the mountain railway, which brings you in a few minutes from Rabland to Aschbach and saves over 800 meters.

In the Salzburg Sportwelt you can expect well-developed MTB tours including tricky trails, which can often be combined with a jump in one of the numerous lakes. The region bears the seal of approval "Approved Bike Area" and, above all, offers e-bikers a diverse range of tours. The Hochgründeck tour leads through a huge forest area. Highlights along the route are the Heinrich Kiener House and the St. Vinzenz Friedenskirche. Shortly before the end you come through Wagrain. There is the bike park, which is definitely worth a stop. Whether you just watch the colorful hustle and bustle in the park or even try out a few trails, it's up to you - the bike park is always worth seeing. The way back to Flachau then comes without action: About a well-developed bike path you roll back to the starting point of the tour, the Alpine Gourmet Hotel Montanara. There already hosts Andreas Hausbacher and his family-run house waiting for you, where you can relax after a great day on the bike and strengthen. Incidentally, Andreas is an avid biker himself and takes you on a tour to show you the most beautiful spots in the region. There are offers of the hotel here: qr.i-mts.net/6845g63.

In the Salzkammergut you are in the middle of one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Here you cycle between the Dachstein massif and countless lakes. On the Altaussee-Tressenstein-Grundlsee-Runde you also make a detour to the different lakes in Ausseerland. A jump into the cool water is worthwhile. Do not forget swimwear! But before the first refreshment, a long climb is waiting for you. In the Sommersbergsee you can refresh yourself for the first time in the cool water. The small lake is particularly idyllic and will inspire you if you are looking for peace and seclusion. At the Grundlsee and the Altausseer See, it is no less beautiful, but much more turbulent. But there is always something going on at the two big lakes of this round and you are guaranteed to find the right refreshments for you.A view from the top of the beautiful mountains you can enjoy from the lookout tower on the Tressenstein. The demanding climb is worth it - but if it is too much for you, you can just skip this trip and shorten the tour in this way.Back in Bad Goisern, peace and relaxation await you at the end of the beautiful tour. In the family-run hotel, which is protected by the Hague Convention as a cultural monument, you can relax wonderfully. At dinner there will certainly be a nice conversation with boss Andrea Schenner. She is a mountain biker herself and knows the region like the back of her hand - of course she has some tips for you. Bike offers of the hotel can be found here: qr.i-mts.net/oi1vuea.

Saalfelden-Leogang in Pinzgau should definitely be on the bucket list of every mountain biker. Especially freeriders will find their playground in the world-famous bike park in Leogang. If you prefer to spend time away from the bike park, then this tour up to the top of the Buchensteinwand is just right for you. The "Buach" - as the mountain is called by the locals - is the most beautiful mountain in the Pillerseetal. With moderate climbs and manageable distance, the short lap is also feasible for bike newcomers, but still opens up wonderful views and insights into the mountains. From Leogang you start on quiet side roads and idyllic dirt roads, until you reach the "Buach", which you will see below. You drive on rather simple ways, which do not have technical driving surprises. In between you come again and again through small villages where you can strengthen yourself. About half way you have the opportunity to make a small detour with real delights: With the mountain railway you can ride your bike up on the Buchensteinwand, from where you can enjoy magnificent views. On the way back, a cool refreshment awaits you at Lake Wiesensee before you head back to the starting point of the tour. You will be warmly welcomed at the Biohotel Rupertus in Leogang. Chef Gottfried is himself an avid single track racer and boss Nadja likes to take over the ladies tours. The two of you will surely have a few insider tips for you, so that you can explore the surroundings of Leogang, also off the bike park.
