Vienna's Hausberge, the mountains Raxalpe, Schneeberg, Hohe Wand as well as the Wienerwald offer families heaps of options to enjoy great hikes and adventures. We've compiled the best for you right here. While the hike "Mit den Hirschen jausen" (Eating out with deers) is also doable with an outdoor pram, most of these hikes are tailored to families with kids who are at least 7 years of age.

In addition to eight different day trips, you will also find a multi-day tour in this collection, the "Hüttenrunde auf der Rax" (from hut to hut on the Rax). On the suggested routes, there are enchanted caves to discover, impressive peaks to conquer and speedy descents into the valley. There is also no shortage of resting places to eat the snacks you have brought with you, and cosy huts with playgrounds to stop for a break. Nothing stands in the way of an eventful summer!
