Engadin St. Moritz — Running is like flying to me

Hiking Collection by MySwitzerland

For trail runner Julia Bleasdale, running is like flying. Now, you can experience trail running just like her along the Bernina Tour. Let yourself be enchanted by magnificent views of breathtaking glaciers and beautiful mountain lakes as you run the most spectacular trails in the Alps. Enjoy winding paths through picturesque valleys and regain your strength with a "Plättli" (platter) during a cozy break at a rustic hut.

Trail runner and Olympic participant Julia Bleasdale fell in love with the fascinating landscape of the Engadine during an altitude training session. She ran the trails around the Bernina Group one by one until she had circumnavigated the entire mountain range once. In this Collection, we show you the tour around the Bernina massif. You can either run it in six to seven stages at a time or, like Julia, in individual sections. Experience the world and breathtaking nature through the eyes of a passionate trail runner. Discover the beautiful Val Roseg and the view from Diavolezza or the Fuorcla Surlej. Let yourself be inspired by rustic mountain villages like Grevasalvas. Jump over stones and puddles, accelerate and slow down to your own pace to intensively experience the trails.

For an unforgettable time in the Engadine, we have put together seven experiences for you in addition to the Bernina Tour. The varied day tours are a mix of trail runs and hikes of various degrees of difficulty – everyone is guaranteed to find something to suit them. On the routes, you will experience huge glaciers and mountains, pretty valleys and landscapes with picturesque lakes which are stunning in every season.
