The Smaraggdweg leads from St Moritz to the lakes Lej da Staz, Lej Marsch, Lej Nair, Lej Zuppò, with breathtaking blocks over the Silvaplana and Sils lakes to Sils. The moorland, which is crossed, was declared by the WWF the emerald area, the natural landscape worthy of protection. Through beautiful moorland and coniferous forests, past lakes, the trail offers beautiful views of the unique surroundings.
