That Saalbach is a paradise for mountain bikers has gotten around meanwhile. That is why we mention only because of the form that a stay in the local bike hotel is a strategically very sensible measure. This short tour shows why. From the bike cellar, you will warm yourself up for a few minutes and for the first time you will be faced with the agony of choice. Whereby you do not need to decide between one of the countless trails this time. Now it's about the following question: Pedaling or taking the lift? Our tour describes the "sportier" variant. If you decide for the lift, that is not a mistake either - the countless trails that start from the top station of the Schattberg X-Press will make sure that you still feel what you have done in the evening.Back to the tour - so you decided to earn your own departure. Very good and as a reward are already waiting for a variety of delicacies on you. The eye is happy about the breathtaking panorama. The stomach is happy about the stop in one of the inviting mountain huts and you can not wait to finally work on the panoramic trail with your bike. The order does not really matter, and there's nothing wrong with repeating one or more points in this program until you can not. Then treat yourself to a refreshment in the iconic Spielberghaus and then happily and happily roll back to Saalbach.
Come with me to the other side of the mountain! More specifically, today you drive over to Leogang to the bike park, where once a year during the downhill World Cup the whole mountain bike world looks. You can tackle it today a bit less daring than the downhill pros, but you will enjoy the great slopes that characterize the bike park. To get there, it goes first high. At the top, however, there are plenty of opportunities waiting for you to refresh yourself in peace, and then start full power into the bike park.Over the Hangman Trail you can now run it in the direction of the valley station. The trail has it all and will challenge your driving skills. If it gets too much for you, there are plenty of alternatives in the bike park that will lead you to the valley a little more relaxed. Now you have the choice: Do you want to continue on the tour or discover the bikepark for a while? The Asitz cable car brings you back to the top, so there's nothing wrong with taking one or the other downhill. Only pick up enough grains for the return trip. This leads you for a while on easy to driving and mostly flat paths to Grießensee. Shortly before the finish, it goes a good bit uphill to the Spielberghaus. A last refreshment complacent? Then you roll casually back to Saalbach with loads of great impressions in your luggage.

The Zugspitzarena offers a variety of challenging single trails in front of an impressive backdrop. Around Lermoos there are a few particularly fine trails to discover. And you can conquer with your own muscle power or you can be brought by Grubig-I and Grubig-II-Bahn up to 2,030 meters, and then to enjoy the full power downhill. As so often, at the beginning of this tour is a fundamental decision. But what follows is in any case a trailer experience at its best. In Lermoos, there are various freeride routes waiting for you - including jumps, ramps and steep turns. Whether Grubigalm, Forrest-One or Forrest-Aisle, there is downhill action at its best. And do not worry: Here everyone gives as much gas as he can and wants. Beginners let it go slowly and roll with flow to Tale. On the other hand, advanced skiers can stand it, take one or the other wave as a jump and also get their money's worth. And best of all: Once down there, the cable car invites you to a new round!
This tour is just right for you, if you want to enjoy nature beyond the bikepark bustle. Although she has some altitude, but otherwise is rather easy. You ride on quiet dirt roads, old cart paths, trails and singletrack and enjoy the view of rugged rocks, impressive gorges and babbling mountain streams. On the way back there is a stop at the Mining Open Air Museum in the Gurgltal - then you roll back to the starting point on flat paths. A quiet tour for connoisseurs! To get from the "Sporthotel Our Loisach" (komoot.de/highlight/454995) in Lermoos to the starting point of this beautiful tour, it is recommended to take the post bus. If you're on holiday in the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena and have a guest card, it's even free! In just over half an hour you will be in Nassereith, where the tour starts. (Information on the timetable can be found here: fahrplan.vvt.at/webapp/index.html?L=vs_vvt#!P|TP!histId|1!histKey|H783474)
Breathtaking mountain roads and an unforgettable panorama can be found in the heart of the famous Dolomites Unesco World Heritage in Alta Badia. From a pleasure trip for the whole family to a sportive bike tour with lots of height difference you will find everything here to get your money's worth. Twice a year the Sellaronda Bike Day takes place here. On these two days, the four Dolomite passes are reserved exclusively for bikers and you can really enjoy the scenery. This beautiful tour is ideal as a half-day tour, various highlights invite you to culinary or cultural breaks. On the other hand, the incredibly beautiful landscape of the Dolomites with its breathtaking views is always present.By the way, hotelier Klaus Irsara knows his way around and certainly has one or two tips for you!
The famous Sellaronda MTB Tour is a nice announcement. But undoubtedly a great experience! To empathize with this, we show you this beautiful tour. Shorter but no less beautiful, you'll be wandering the Sellaronda route here and there, taking with you one thing in particular: just as beautiful trails and equally breathtaking views. Our tour starts, like the Sellaronda, in Alta Badia. Two long climbs are waiting for you today. But of course two great runs! You mostly use singletrack and hardly roads. Beautiful, quiet villages invite you to leisurely breaks. Although this tour is designed so that you can easily manage without any lifts. But as the area here is just full of it, you always have the choice to add another summit in your lap by lift. The right trail downhill is all by itself. To experience the Dolomites on the bike is a real pleasure and we hope you enjoy it.
Around the Langkofel you can expect real trail classics, such as the "Stone City" and of course the Langkofel circuit. On the other hand, it offers you plenty of creative freedom. Because the area is full of trails and lifts. So you have the choice: Follow our tour suggestion or vary according to your personal taste. You want to save a few meters? Various lifts are available along the route. You think the right-turning trail looks good? Try it! The well-developed trail network is suitable for one or the other variation and ensures that you get your money. In the end, a wonderfully long descent brings you back to St. Christina and spits you almost directly in front of your hotel, where you can dream of a fantastic mountain panorama from your next bike tour in the Val Gardena.
On this tour the name says it all: At the sight of Schlern, Rosszähne, Plattkofel and Langkofel you will definitely get excited. But always nice in the row. It starts from the starting point in St. Christina, where you can let it run loose. Along the Val Gardena stream you roll relaxed to St. Ulrich. Here's your choice: Do you prefer to relax and take the Alpe di Siusi cable car or do you pedal up the approximately 700 vertical meters on your own?Sooner or later you will reach the highest point of the tour at almost exactly 2,000 meters. Already here at the top station you are right in the middle of the most beautiful panorama of the Dolomites. A slight descent on gravel with subsequent driveway on asphalt leads you to the first stop, the inn Icaro. Only a few miles further, now downhill again, is the left of the road to Saltria the quaint Rauchhütte with excellent cuisine. On the beautiful terrace or the large lawn you can enjoy the scenery to the fullest. You will reach Saltria a few minutes later. It follows the only significant increase in the tour (unless you initially save the mountain railway) on the gravel road towards Monte Pana. With Sassolungo and Plattkofel directly in front of the nose but also these 170 meters in altitude are done quickly. From now on, the inclinometer almost only shows downhill. From Monte Pana to Ciaslat some very nice trails bring some technical changes in this otherwise rather simple tour. About Wolkenstein and the bike path on the old railway line you roll to La Poza, change to the other side of the Gardena stream and reach the starting point of the tour in St. Christina.
