Leiden is the birthplace of Rembrandt, which is reflected in many places. For example, you cycle past the Rembrandtpark and the memorial of the young Rembrandt. The route continues along the water. With a magnificent view of Molen De Valk and the numerous houseboats on the Haarlemmertrekvaart you continue the tour towards Oegstgeest.Through the countryside you head towards Noordwijk past windmills and greenery. On the way to the sea, the lighthouse of Noordwijk gets closer and closer. Once you reach it, you can park your bike on the boulevard to pay a visit to the beach. Then the path leads you along the coast back to the starting point.
This 32-kilometer circular course takes you on a flat stretch of Leiden around the Kaag lakes. The Kaag Lakes are a small lake system in South Holland northeast of Leiden. They are popular for boat trips, water sports, cycling and hiking. As you drive around the lakes and along the many canals in Leiden, you will pass windmills, pastures by the water with grazing animals, picturesque Dutch boats and buildings. In the flower season, you can also enjoy the colorful flower fields.

The 36-kilometer round takes you from Leiden to the beautiful beaches of Katwijk and Noordwijk. Katwijk is the proud owner of the most beautiful beach promenade in the Netherlands. In and around the village you can go hiking, cycling or shopping in the characteristic shops of the village. In a variety of restaurants and beach pavilions you can after a day at the beach with coffee and delicious meals pampered. Through idyllic dunes it goes from Katwijk on Noordwijk then back to Leiden.
The coastal town of Noordwijk is the starting point for this flowery bike ride, which will take you 42 kilometers past the most beautiful flower fields in the region. At the beginning, the circuit takes you past Noordwijkerhout and Oosterduinse Meer. On the entire route you can already admire colorful blooming flower fields along the way. The highlight of the flower splendor you will then experience in Keukenhof. About the Tulperij, a flower farm, you then cycle in a large arc back to Noordwijk the sea.
In Noordwijk at the lighthouse, the 35 kilometer circuit on Leiden starts. You cycle south across rural areas with beautiful windmills and wide green meadows. Soon you will reach the foothills of the city of Leiden, which are dominated by much water. Following the canals, you will enter the city where you can stop for a bite to eat in one of the many restaurants or cafes. On the way out of town you pass the CORPUS. In the museum you can literally undertake a journey through the human being. Via the foothills of Katwijk we return to the starting point in Noordwijk.
In Leiden starts this easy bike ride that brings you to the coast on a beautiful 26 kilometer course. From Leiden, you cycle pretty directly northwest to Katwijk. After a short stroll through the city, turn left and drive along a beautiful stretch of coastline through beautiful dune landscape. Via Wassenaar, where you can make a stopover and stroll through the pretty city center, the round goes back to Leiden. Before returning to the starting point, you can stop at the station of the steam train "Stoomtrein Katwijk Leiden".

From Katwijk, this bike ride takes you to Leiden. Right from the beginning of the 28-kilometer easy round course you cycle directly along the water. Following various channels, you arrive in the city center of Leiden. In the birthplace of Rembrandt you can visit the cultural attractions around the famous painter and landmarks such as De Burcht or the Botanical Garden. After enjoying suffering to the fullest, the route takes you along the water back to the coast to Katwijk.
