The approximately 50-kilometer Wörthersee tour over the Keutschacher Seental is by far the most popular pleasure bike tour in the region. Sporty cyclists tackle the entire round, while leisurely cyclists like to shorten the course. With the boat trip on the Wörthersee, this can be easily set up and even becomes an experience. The route usually starts from Velden and then runs in a clockwise direction. Along the sun-kissed north shore, it's flat along the lake. Countless views to the turquoise blue water invite you to turn off the bike and jump into the refreshing water. At Bad Saag, Pritschitz and Krumpendorf, you also have the ideal opportunity at the publicly accessible bathing areas. In the east bay, many cyclists then stop at the lakeside terrace of the "Lido" or "Maria Loretto". Under the Carinthian sun and framed by palm trees, you can enjoy Lake Wörth here on the lake terraces, virtually "foot-free". For those who do not want to continue, or give in to the enticing "dolce vita", there is the possibility to return to Velden by boat. For all the others, it continues over the 4-Seen valley. In a gentle slope, you first reach the Rauschelesee. Do you want to jump into the water here, or do you prefer to refresh a bit further and in the Keutschacher See? You are spoiled for choice! After the highest point of the entire route, it slowly descends to Velden, the lifestyle hotspot of the Wörthersee. Countless lakeside terraces and restaurants await guests before the lively nightlife of Velden begins. The artists and artists on the boulevard delight the guests as well as the cocktails in the beach bars. There is plenty of opportunity to think about the next eventful bike ride on the Wörthersee.

The cycle path on the Wörthersee leads into one of the quiet corners of the region to the castles Damtschach, Wernberg, Rosegg and Velden. In addition, there are 22 smaller monuments as well as the celtic world Frög on the way and make the cycle track so to speak a cultural round. The track is also so popular because you have the shallow water biotope Föderlach a beautiful rest stop. Here the panoramic view stretches from the Karawanken across the Julian Alps to the Carnic Alps. What a beautiful sight! An insider tip on the route is the landscape garden at Schloss Damtschach. The listed garden is an absolute treasure in Carinthia, since it was created after the model of the English landscape gardens and embodies the romantic interpretation of nature of a bygone era.At Schloss Rosegg there is a zoo 20 and a labyrinth. The ideal time for another rest, if you want to take it easy. You can marvel at lynxes, bison and other wild animals, take a refreshment in the cafe, or watch the animals go by in the shade of the many trees. The name of the restaurant on the last hill before the end of the bike tour could not have been better chosen, Gasthof Liebentritt. After the last kicks on the pedals you roll back comfortably to the starting point of the tour, Velden. As the grand finale of the cycling tour you will pass the famous Schlosshotel Velden. "A castle on the Wörthersee" is still in vivid memory of many, even if the ultra-modern and elegant 5 * hotel of today has nothing to do with the hotel from the TV series. Here at the Seecorso you can safely get off the bike and look forward to a cool refreshment on one of the many lakes terraces. Or you can hurry to the hotel and take a shower to dress up for a delicious dinner in one of the excellent restaurants. The Lifestyle Hotspot Velden with its boulevard over the summer offers a perfect opportunity to round off an eventful day at the Wörthersee with the performances of the artists and artists.

This beautiful circuit leads on long stretches through the forest, which is why it can be ridden relaxed even on hot summer days. It starts at the Infocenter in Seelach and leads from there directly past the forest adventure world down to St. Kanzian. After a little dangling you come to the Drava. Here you cycle along the shore through the shady forest until you reach the Völkermarkter Draubrücke. This brings you to the other side of the reservoir, where you take the Drauradweg along the wooded shore. On the way you come through the bird sanctuary Neudenstein, where you can watch the one or the other bird with some patience. The Tainacher Draubrücke then brings you back to the other side of the water, where the bike path leads back to the starting point.

The Millstätter See cycle path leads once around the Millstätter lake. It begins at the eastern end of the north shore and runs on a separately separated paved bike path along the Millstätter Landesstraße on the shore of Lake Millstatt to the west. The northern section of the route is covered in no time due to the low slope and paved grip and leads through the lively villages Döbriach, Millstatt and Seeboden. On the other hand, it gets a bit more demanding on the unspoiled south shore. Here you have to pedal. You have to master several small ascents here. After a climb, but always followed by a long descent, where you can just run the bike. The gravel road on the south bank is mostly wooded and therefore offers plenty of shady sections. From the 11th to the 13th of May an e-bike event will take place on Lake Millstatt. For three days, everything revolves around the theme of e-bikes on Lake Millstatt. "Experience the enjoyment of Lake Millstatt" is the motto of the new festival for e-biker fans of all ages, where there are e-bikes for all including advice and testing. At "E-Motions", cyclists of all ages, whether they are e-bike beginners, pleasure cyclists or ambitious e-mountain bikers, get their money's worth. For the festival opening on Friday, May 11, 2018, the organizers have come up with something very special. Rounding the Millstätter See cycle path with a ski legend: the Austrian ski legend and Olympic champion Franz Klammer will officially open the festival and tour program as the exclusive tour guide of the "Winora Haibike Tour". The "Winora Haibike Tour" will take participants to the most beautiful spots around the lake.

The tour leads counterclockwise over Seeboden a. M.S. to the south bank. There begins the 300-meter-rise through the forest to the Egelsee. With forest roads and a few earthy forest roads, this tour has no technical difficulties. There are more "stars" for the landscape and the awesome experience when the bog lake appears among the trees.Later it goes down to the bike path on the south bank to the beach bar at the "Charly" in Döbriach a. M.S .. From there you cycle back on the bike path on the northern shore of the lake. Optionally, you can abbreviate and drive from the south bank with the bike ferry back to Millstatt. Then the tour has less than 20 kilometers and 400 meters in altitude. For the guided tour E-MTBs of the tour partner "Carinthia rent e bike" are available, which can be borrowed at the tour counter. Times: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.30 clock.By the way, an e-bike event will also take place from 11 to 13 May at Lake Millstätter See. Here you can test to your heart's content the latest e-bikes.

Expert mountain bike ride. Great for any fitness level. Advanced riding skills necessary. Some portions of the Tour may require you to carry your bike.

The start of this adventure is at the valley station of the Millennium Express in Tröpolach. It is quite comfortable including a bike to the mountain station on the Tressdorfer Alm, optionally continue to the highest point of the tour, on the Madritsche. At the top there are 11.7 kilometers between you and the valley. The route down mostly leads over gravel and requires a lot of fitness - especially in the upper arms. On the way through the Carnic Alps, you pass impressive rock formations and the typical flora and fauna of the region, that is the panorama that previously astonished you from the valley.

This magnificent mountain bike tour starts in Techendorf and leads you through the beautiful landscape around the Weissensee in Carinthia. The scenic tour offers you not only mountain bike action, but also some rest stops, such as the Hermagor Bodenalm. The Hermagor Bodenalm was built in 1928 and is open from early May to mid-October. In the summer months, about 30 dairy cows and 10 young cattle graze on the lush green pastures. The high-quality milk is processed into cheese and butter in the own dairy. But also the Fischeralm, where you pass later, or the Gasthof Dolomitenblick offer you great rest and culinary delicacies. A very special highlight awaits you at the end of the tour: the return journey by boat to Techendorf.
