Fancy hiking along the edge of the Alps? Then you’re in luck. We’ve discovered seven high-altitude hikes that will slide you along the Alp’s upper-north side, winding you through the Chiemgau mountains and away from the tourist trails. Exciting roundtrips include the promise of peaks, and each route demands a fair amount of clawing, sweating and a whole lot of grit. Climbing to the top is going to take a certain amount of mountaineering experience, a sense of orientation and the ability to not get dizzy, however, as these seven Tours are not for the faint of heart.
