From Hinterzarten, you start your Tour by heading up to the famous Lake Titi. Afterwards, you stroll along old train tracks that wind alongside the beautiful Wutach river as you make your way to the Upper Rhine and into Switzerland. From there, you go north along the border of France up to Fribourg, a town that will also be the final major stop of this relaxed Tour. From the lovely village of Himmelreich, you will take the Höllentalbahn to skip the 600-meter climb back to the start of your trip.
From Hinterzarten you follow slightly uphill on the railway to Haslachtal. Here you go over the water and continue on the Bähnle cycle path on the old railway lines. Up to Bonndorf it is always a little bit uphill before a great descent to the destination on the Wutach is waiting for you afterwards.
