You want to go out into nature, together with your little ones? And you would love to try a multiday hike from hut to hut, where it's equally joyful for you and the children? Well, then the Fichtel Mountains are perfect for you. The family friendly huts and paths along the high route in the Tröstauer forest are a great outdoor adventure for the big and the small ones.

Over four days you'll discover the rock labyrinth Luisenburg, climb some peaks with fantastic views and collect blueberries along the way – well, if the time is right. Hidden caves and huge rocks make the hike an adventure. The path is marked very well and maintained in a way, that you can totally hike it with a kiddle carrier. When the little scouts get tired after a long day in fresh air, you can enjoy the remaining evening and relax on the terrace of a mountain hut.

After a mountain breakfast on the terrace, the path will always lead you along the well-marked mountain trail from the Kösseine via the Hohe Matze to the Seehaus. A few meters in altitude are to be overcome, but the great views over the Fichtelgebirge and the blueberry shrubs along the way compensate

The lake house is not only hospitable, but also a good starting point for a day trip further along the mountain trail. Without luggage and lots of time, you can explore the path towards Schneeberg on today's day trip. Ambitious people can walk all the way to the unique rock formations of Rudolfstein

On the last day, the path leads out of the forest and into the fields - pleasant downhill you can once again enjoy the country feeling and recharge a little sun before it goes back to civilization. In Leupoldsdorf there is a nice playground to take a break, then it runs quite relaxed between grain and
