On day 1 it goes from Kelheim to Kallmünz. This includes virtually the first four stages of the hikers. That's a lot, but for experienced mountain bikers with downhill experience definitely feasible. Be prepared to push your bike uphill in some places. In the north of the town of Kelheim, the Jurasteig leads up to the Goldberg, where, with shady beech forests, a typical Jura landscape appears for the first time. Great trails through forests, over mountain peaks and valleys lead you today in the picturesque Kallmünz. In between there is even a short ferry crossing. A great tour with a lot of variety.

On the morning of the second day, we drive over the hill of Kallmünz Castle. Always following the border of the military training area Höhenfels, it is usually directly on streams and rivers through the Lauterbachtal to Mühlhausen. From here it goes a little higher up on the Schanzberg and then back down into the valley of the White Laber to Deining.

On day three, we'll start to feel more comfortable. Up and down it is mostly on easy to drive singletrack always the course of the White Laber following up to Dietfurt at the Altmühl. From here we make a detour into the side valley and close the day with a decent rise and then fun ride in the village of Deising. Here we no longer follow the stages of the Jura Stone as a hike. Of course, if you are still fit, you can continue cycling and attach the day four right away.
