At the beginning you drive comfortably up to the top station with the Nebelhornbahn. A short path leads you to the pointer saddle, where you can enjoy a great view of the Seealpsee. Over flower-rich steep slopes, the mountain trail winds to the Schochensattel.Afterwards it becomes steeper and it is on rope-insured passages through rugged, partially exposed terrain. After passing the Laufbacher Eck, the long descent to the Käseralpe in the Oytal begins. Here are worth good touring poles and regular break. After your descent, you have earned a long break in the Käseralm in every case. Now it goes on more comfortable trails through the picturesque Oytal on Stuibenfall and other pastures. You follow the Oybach down the valley until you finally reach Oberstdorf again.
This exciting mountain tour on the third level leads you directly from Oberstdorf to the summit of the Rubihorn - with over 1,100 vertical meters in the ascent in any case a tour for persevering hikers. From the valley station of the Nebelhornbahn, you will hike past the ski jumps and into the Faltenbachtobel. Through the wildly romantic brook gorge it goes uphill to the cable car middle station "Seealpe".Now you climb over wide, lush alpine meadows and through sparse woodland towards the summit. The path becomes steeper and then meanders in countless hairpin bends over the Südwestgrat to the summit cross. Here you will be for the long climb with a breathtaking view of the upper Illertal and the Allgäu mountains. Passing the lower Gaisalpsee and the cozy Gaisalpe, the route leads you down the Nordgrat down to the valley. The last section runs with a wonderful view over the Wallraffweg.

On this hike you will tour the imposing Höfats on the challenging track of almost 23 kilometers. The proverbial highlight is the overhanging of the saddle: from the highest point of the tour you have a fantastic view of the Allgäu mountains. The tour takes you first on comfortable hiking trails from Oberstdorf into the Trettachtal. Through the Hölltobel you climb up to the mountain village Gerstruben and follow the paths to the Dietersbachalpe - a perfect place for a first rest.Now it is steep and mountainous. On narrow trails, it goes through alpine terrain up to the elk saddle. After you have crossed the pass, the mountain trail leads you in some hairpin bends down into the picturesque Oytal. Here, the path widens again and leads you past several cozy mountain huts, which invite you to a well deserved rest. At the Oytalhaus, the last hut in the valley, you can also rent a mountain scooter and roll down the last few kilometers on the scooter to Oberstdorf.
The Rappenseehütte on the main ridge of the Allgäu Alps is the perfect starting point for exciting mountain tours. For this you have to climb but first to the hut - on this route we present you the ascent of the donkey trail. To do this you take the bus to Alpe Eschbach and start your hike here. First, you walk on the narrow, lonely asphalt road through the beautiful valley. The path only rises gently and this section is pure hiking pleasure.After about two hours you will reach the Black Hut. Here you should strengthen yourself again and give yourself a break - because now it is steep and alpine. On narrow serpentine paths, the donkey trail leads you up to the Musskopf saddle. Enjoy the wonderful view in peace and quiet, because you are almost at your destination. The path leads you past the picturesque Rappensee and finally you are standing in front of the Rappenseehütte.
