Is it getting colder outside? At last! Now is the right time to slip into your hiking boots, put on your rain jacket, fill your flask and roam through the colourful autumn landscape. While the forest dwellers prepare for hibernation, nature offers us the most sublime spectacle of the year: in the forests, the leaves begin to turn red, yellow and orange, squirrels carefully horde their nut stores and the temperatures become perfect for a hike.

No matter what the weather is like, get out and enjoy this colourful spectacle of nature! Our eight different Tours show you where you can do this best around Vienna in autumn. Except for one hike (from Knappenberg to the Rax), you can reach all starting points by public transport.
