If you enjoy unforgettable bicycle adventures, safe in the knowledge that you’re close to repair points if something goes wrong – you’re in the right place. Here, we reveal breathtaking Tours through Northern Germany that are never too far from bike repair shops and cyclist-friendly cafes offering delicious cakes and freshly brewed coffee.

There’s something for everyone in this Collection – from challenging all-day rides to more leisurely routes. What all these Tours have in common is that they pass repair shops, service points and cycling cafés. So, you can be sure that help is never far away if you have a technical problem. If everything goes well, you can also simply look forward to a snack and a coffee speciality in one of the cycling cafés that crown many of the Tours.

The majority of these routes are designed for touring bikes and are mainly on asphalt with extended gravel sections. Some of the rides are entirely off-road, but we mention this in the descriptions so you’ll know which Tours you’ll need a mountain or gravel bike for.

On the Tours of this Collection, you’ll get to know different regions in Southern Germany. Look forward to relaxed tours along the Main river near Würzburg or along the Isar river near Munich. Marvel at the varied singletrack Tours in Freiburg and Karlsruhe or the gravel paradises around Nuremberg and Stuttgart. Regardless of whether you prefer to ride a gravel bike or a mountain bike, as an off-road fan you’ll find the perfect terrain to let off steam in Southern German - that's a promise!

Security for your bike: Allianz counter-protection.
Finally, a tip for the ultimate proof of love for your bike. Look after it, ride it AND insure it! Because nothing is more annoying (and expensive) than when your favourite means of transport falls into the hands of thieves – and that happens faster than you think.

With Allianz Gegenstandsschutz, you're in safe hands. You receive comprehensive and worldwide protection for your bike and other favourite items (such as your photographic equipment). If they are damaged or stolen, they will be replaced at replacement value.

So, you're safe on the road. And that's exactly what we want!

Happy cycling!
