Region Gaildorf Laufen am Kocher

The run had to be rescheduled due to countless ticks who wanted to make themselves comfortable with me. With tick number 7 it became too annoying. The paths were also full of stinging nettles, almost like a partial off-grid run in the Wimbachtal.

A run near Untergröningen in the cool forest on "forest highways" ... but still beautiful!

A nice run on the Altenberg tower ✌

Run to the Altenberg Tower near Sulzbach am Kocher with very good visibility. Over 4km only uphill, then the tower and as a reward everything downhill again.

Today in a short dress, yesterday dressed for winter, April does indeed what it wants 😉.

It's raining cats and dogs....🌧🌧🌧. Run from Wengen to Rübgarten partly off-grid on a muddy forest path in the Kochertal.

Nice cross-country run a few times back off-grid in the Kochertal from Rübgarten to Wimbach via Wengen. The footbridge over the Gr. Wimbach has now rotted away (Fig. 11). You have to find a ford and cross the stream that way.

Run to the Altenburg Tower at rel. good visibility with a 360° view. The temperature rose significantly during the run, from 13°C at the beginning to almost 18°C at the end. It's finally getting a little warmer now. The run is scenically very attractive, but also garnished with a few meters of altitude.

A run at the Kocher from Untergröningen to Laufen 🏃‍♂️and back today without (many) meters of altitude ...

"Today I wanted to run after running", one could also say 😃

Shortly after Untergröningen we went back through forests to the Altenberg Tower with a great 360° view (photos 28+) via Laufen am Kocher along the Kocher.

A run in and around Rübgarten partly on the wrong track through thorny undergrowth, only conditionally recommended for imitation.

A short run from Wengen to Rübgarten via Laufen a.K. return. I didn't give two MTBers a chance on the mountain 😉, then I was lost on the way down 🥴.

Nice run along the Kocher to Altschmiedelfeld (cosmopolitan city 😉), then "up" to Weiler, unfortunately with a time limit, therefore almost a tempo run... There is also a café in Weiler, which is only open by appointment. Weiler is also very remote, a cosmopolitan village like Altschmiedelfeld.

Today, running at the Kocher was explored as a runner ... at km 7.7 the way was over ... nevertheless I got back to the goal ...

A little run around Algishofen, especially since the way back was a mud fight... you don't treat yourself to anything else 😉

Nice run with climbing inserts and partly impassable passages (picture 12) up and down...

Small almost New Year's Eve tour 🏃 ♂️ in Wengen to Laufen am Kocher with off-grid passages and blackberry thorns... from Krasberg we went "crass" through the thorny undergrowth very hilly back to Laufen. Overall a very varied round.

Today there was a "small" round to the Altenbergturm via Untergröningen Eschach Göggingen back to Horn, a 12h hike (6h to 18h) with a few breaks, just beautiful 👍. Runners can hike too! The marathon distance was just missed (42.195).

From Billingshalden it went back to Waldmannshofen via Wengen am Kocher to Amselhöfle. The round is entertaining. At the end of the run it started raining, which is welcome given all the lack of precipitation in recent weeks.

Incidentally, the run ran through two districts (Ostalbkreis AA and district SHA (=Schwäbisch-Hall)).
