The Rur Eifel offers incredible spectacular natural beauty. In the south of the StädteRegion Aachen, the Rur-Eifel region is a unique low mountain range with breathtaking landscapes. You'll encounter daffodil meadows and mighty beech forests, cycle alongside babbling brooks and sparkling lakes, and discover mystical moors and wildly romantic valleys. You don’t have to stop at the borders of this magnificent region either, as you can cycle to neighbouring regions such as the imperial city of Aachen, the districts of Düren and Euskirchen, and the Belgian border areas on a network of junctions and day trips.
