That was probably the famous icing on the cake at the end: We are out very early today to take the bus at 09:20 in the direction of Palma. Shame about the exquisite pancakes with warm sauce that were served in the hotel. All the same. On to Valldemossa from which it was only uphill. Since of course we

We had a travel guide who advertised this path with a visit to a cave and the ascent to a Puig .. We therefore took the bus to Mirador de ses Barques where you have a great view over the valley to Port de Sóller ☀️ .. From there it went through olive groves and stony paths in the direction of Tuent

Since the bus would not have arrived at Lluc Monastery until 11:15 a.m., we took a taxi.. the steep drive up over the serpentines alone was a highlight.. when we arrived, we only looked around briefly and walked to the next refuge a little higher up .. further uphill over stony paths. Luckily we took

Well, we'll probably never see Estellence... two days ago the bus left 3 minutes ahead of us and this time we wanted to be sure and took a taxi. But there was a bike race and all the roads to it were closed. So started from Es Capella and walked to the Galatzo Valley. The way went over the GR221, which

This time again by bus to Sankt Elm.. (I hope I don't bring up catchy tunes again @Herr Hah - Der Kartoffelkönig 🥔👑 😳). From there over a narrow forest path, which was not so easy to find.. it got steeper and gave a wonderful view of Dragonera.

In one place you really had to climb and the path wasn

What a great hike .. 😃 You can also walk the tour uphill, but our masochism was just limited .. By bus from Port de Sóller to Cuber Dam .. There were so many hikers that there were others at the next stop could not board ..

The bus ride alone offered great views .. Then along the reservoir and slightly

We had the tour from a hiking guide and should go up to La Mola.. it started in town and went over a wide cart path that republican prisoners (about 1937-44) had to build.. beautiful views over the bay the higher we got . At a tunnel that was once intended as an ammunition store, we were able to rest

Make a plan and God laughs.. first by bus to Alcúdia, then by taxi to the Campment de Victoria.. from there it went into the damp thicket.. the path was narrow, rocky and a bit slippery.. through a small forest and then steadily uphill to the Mirador de Victoria.. we panted over the peak and met people

We took the bus to Pollenca and from the bus stop it is not far to the ascent to the Puig de Maria.. there is a former monastery on the mountain..first it goes up on asphalt and the last meters of altitude then go over rocky paths you finally stand at the top.. great view.. today it was a bit overcast

  • On the first day I wanted to see the tower in the distance.. today it was 26° and a bit overcast.. by bus to Port de Pollenca and from there to the Mirador de Colomer.. great vantage point with a view towards Formentor ..👍😊 the earlier you get there, the better.. we left the viewpoint and hiked up

We got stranded in Palma and then made the best of it.. lots of urban art, interesting places in the middle of the city and found some gargoyles and - since we were already wearing hiking boots - hiked to the castle in the distance.. really worth it "Bellver" cost 4 euros entry per person and was described

  • I had the tour up the mountain from a hiking guide.. only I took the last few meters up the mountain and was able to enjoy the beautiful view 🤪... but we didn't want to take the same way back.. therefore replanned on the way and no , we don't recommend chasing after rolling stones.. the path down was

By taxi to Sankt Elm.. by boat to Sa Dragonera (15€/person, book in advance during peak periods). Walked the steepest and then the easiest path.. Lizards are crossing everywhere and they get curious when you sit down..

Great views and the ascent not too difficult. Distance minus boat trip was about 13 km.

Today we are spontaneously with a hiking guide and a small but fine group through the beautiful green valley and it lives up to its name.. 👍☀️🐦🌴🌵🌿🐑🐐🍋🍊🐶..

The old olive trees are particularly beautiful. The path was not very strenuous and it was varied to walk in a group. It was a great start to the holiday hikes..

Today should be our day of rest .. 😁 But somehow we couldn't keep still for feet .. 😃

So we looked for a way to the Torre Picada via komoot .. At one point we had to climb over a stone wall with a closed gate .. We Germans are hardly used to that .. But it's okay if you stay on the paths. . 😃

  • As? Is it raining on Mallorca during our vacation? ☂ .. 😃 But it was still very pleasant to walk after we took the bus to Sóller .. Through the beautiful city center and then off towards the mountains .. There were lemon and orange trees along the way and cacti .. The Properties are often separated

First hike and we start directly from the hotel towards the watchtower on the mountain. Luckily there was still a lot of shade and it was pleasantly windy .. 😃

Then on the GR 221, which we would see more often in the following days. Stony paths, but thanks to the temperature around 25 ° with wind pleasant
