What a great tour 1,300 m above sea level. The taxi gasped a lot as it heaved us up the mountain with its old Mercedes engine. Today, after breakfast, we went uphill the same way as yesterday. We wanted to follow the Levada Nova and then end up in Ribeira Brava. We start with a fantastic breakfast (only included the highlight). and from the hotel we continue uphill to the church where we had a break. Then onto the Levada Nova. Beautiful city. I especially liked the painted doors. Visited the Military Museum. Then by bus to the wrong mountain and to the botanical garden. It was very flowery again 😊. If you had needed more time for .. back to the port with shared taxi 😊 was a wild ride.

First day in Madeira. It's wonderful here.. 17° and sun. Sea, palm trees and nice room. The vacation can start.. we have already found the shopping center and the fastest way to the bus stop 🤪 lots of flowers and lots of green sprouting plants
