The Hannover holiday region is like Germany in miniature: lakes, moors, rivers, cultural landscapes, and magnificent buildings and parks can be discovered by bike. Nature lovers, as well as culture and architecture enthusiasts, will get their money's worth here. Among the many signposted cycling theme routes, you are sure to find the right one for you.
In this Collection, we present 13 Tours that vary in length and theme. Choose between short, city-oriented routes through the magnificent centre of Hannover and longer routes through the wonderful nature outside the city. We'll take you to impressive buildings, through rustling forests, into flowering gardens and to historic monasteries. Enjoy views of the Maschsee, the Leine, the Hanoverian Moorland, or the Steinhuder Meer. Cross the EXPO grounds, marvel at the New Town Hall or the imposing Opera House.
Some Tours are short and so you can combine them with each other. Others are a little longer and can be split into two stages if necessary. A big plus is the very good connection to the regional and suburban railway network: the stations at the starting and finishing points as well as along the way allow you a climate-friendly journey and absolute flexibility.
