Away from any hustle and bustle, the Lahn Valley in Rhineland-Palatinate offers perfect conditions for a relaxing cycle Tour away from traffic. Along the way, noble castles, fortresses, lively museums, picturesque half-timbered towns, and elegant spas invite you to make a stop. So plan plenty of time to linger, stop for a bite to eat, and have a look around. Whether you're on the Lahn Cycle Path, which has been awarded three stars by the ADFC, or on one of the romantic circular routes, here you can enjoy the Lahn Valley on mostly asphalt paths right next to the river.

In this Collection, we present both stages of the Lahn Cycle Path between Limburg and the mouth of the Rhine as well as five exciting and varied day Tours.

For example, the circular Tour ‘Lahn-Westerwald-Radtour’ is extremely varied, combining some of the most beautiful spots of the Nassau Nature Park, over heights with great views, through deep valleys and along lovely Lahn meadows. The Aartal Cycle Path opens up a dreamy valley nestled in the gently rolling Hintertaunus hills. You can discover a lot of nature here, alongside numerous cultural monuments and mineral springs. Combined with the Lahn Cycle Path and the Aartal Cycle Path, the ‘Buckeltour’ is an impressive loop with many distant views. Enjoy the wonderful panoramas and round it off with a stop in Hausen or the idyllically situated Balduinstein.

The Forest and Meadow Tour in combination with the Lahn Cycle Path is a varied loop into the foothills of the Westerwald and you can really pick up speed here. The ‘Querfeldeintour’, on the other hand, offers many wide views. It takes you first through the fields of the Diersteiner Aue and then across an open landscape up high. In the lower Lahn Valley, the gap in the cycle path between Balduinstein and Laurenburg has now been closed. The Lahn Cycle Path now leads you here over two new bridges without car traffic along the Lahn. Planning your route on the Lahn Cycle Path is straightforward, as you can spontaneously head for a station at any time without having to travel long distances.

Pedal, feel the wind on your cheeks, and enjoy your ride.
