If you’re ready for a journey through space and time in North Rhine Westphalia, our Collection is perfect for you. We take you on eight hiking Tours – and one bike Tour – to explore the entire region and also take you through history. From primeval rocks in the Teutoburg Forest and historic castles on the Lower Rhine, to hip murals in Cologne's trendy neighbourhood, there’s loads to discover.
On the Tours, our NRW adventurers set three individual priorities. With Matthias ( reiseblog-nrw.de ) you experience nature in its most idyllic forms. If you're looking for family-friendly excursions with action, the insider tips from Anke, Thorsten and their kids ( moosearoundtheworld.de ) are perfect for you. Or, do you fancy a city walk away from the usual tourist track? Then you should follow Rebecca ( rebeccaswelt.de ).
We also present a bike Tour along the Lower Rhine, allowing you to stretch your legs in a different way. On your way from Grevenbroich to Korschenbroich, you cycle by parks, gardens and seven magnificent palaces and castles.
Of course, there's no shortage of enjoyment on any of the nine exciting Tours. In the individual Tour descriptions, you find recommended places to stop for refreshments and there’s even a loop packed with culinary delights, the perfect Tour for foodies.
Your adventures in NRW will be particularly climate-friendly if you use public transport to access the routes. That's why all the start and end points can be easily reached by bus and train. In addition, our NRW adventurers include modern means of transport, such as rental bikes or e-scooters. This way, your hike or bike Tour will not only be varied, but also sustainable!
