As a landlocked country, water isn’t the first image that springs to mind when you think of Switzerland. However, this mountainous nation is home to a multitude of dreamlike lakes of all sizes. Some have gentle, shallow shorelines, while others boast steep cliffs. Then, there are the countless rivers and streams that criss-cross the country. The crystal-clear waters boast not only incredible views but also the promise of a cooling dip on warm days. Cycling in Switzerland is often hilly but some of the Tours in this Collection prove that there doesn't always have to be a lot of elevation, adventures here can also be flat and relaxed.

In this Collection, we present six different cycling Tours. They are spread throughout the country and all lead you along the water. Some Tours are flat and family-friendly, while others are more challenging. Getting sweaty isn’t a problem on these rides because the next bathing opportunity is never far away.

Soak up the sun at the swimming pool on Lake Pfäffikon, discover impressive highlights on the Aare or cycle through the green Rhone Valley on Lake Geneva. Let the ferry take you across the turquoise Lake Lucerne, jump into the refreshing Lake Thun and enjoy views over the famous Lake Constance. To top it all off, the start and end points of the Tours are easily accessible by public transport.

So, pack your swimsuit and explore Switzerland's wonderful water worlds by bike!
