On this short tour, I'm traveling with my brother in law to pick up our rental car. The rental car station is located in the R2 Rio Calma Hotel.
Today we made a trip with the car to the south end of the lagoon to Risco del Paso. It was more like a beach, sun and bathing tour.
Get recommendations on the best single tracks, peaks, & plenty of other exciting outdoor places.
This was my very first run right on a beach. And it went amazingly well.
Our first rental car tour takes us to the "highlights of the North". The first stop is Puertito de los Molinos ("Little Mill Harbor") on Fuerteventura's west coast. This is the smallest fishing village on the island and seems to belong to another era.
The second stop of the tour "Highlights of the North" is the viewpoint Mirador de Vallebrón. This is located above the pass and offers a good panoramic view of the Montana de Tindaya, the holy mountain of the Altkanarier (red mountain) directly opposite. Climbing the mountain is prohibited.
Thank you, Wilhelm! Have a beautiful Sunday!
Today there was a very nice sunrise during the run.
After my brother-in-law and I brought our rental car back to the car rental company in the R2 Rio Calma Hotel, we took a closer look at this hotel complex. Then the way led to the Playa de Costa Calma and there back to our hotel.
After dinner we took a short trip to the shopping center Sotavento. Then there was a little detour to the beach.
Oh, thank you, Ina! I am glad! 😀
Thank you, Wilhelm! It's fun to watch as the sun climbs out of the sea. 😉
Today for a change a hike on the Playa de Costa Calma with start and finish at the Allsun Barlovento Hotel, accompanied by my mother.
The dark photo is a backlit shot. Completely around the sun was a rainbow, which unfortunately is not recognizable in color in the photo.
On this little beach walk, together with my parents, we went over the section heading north.
Today again a small beach walk with my parents.
After 2 days forced break (blister under the left foot) today again a morning run. In the beginning there was a walk through loose sand, because there was still a flood. A little later, only a narrow strip was available for the runners, with constant dodging when the water got too high.
On this tour, my parents showed me the predominantly African market, which takes place twice a week near our hotel.
This round trip starts at the allsun Barlovento Hotel in Costa Calma and heads north past hotels past the streets Calle Agustin Millares and Caesar Manrique. At the end of the road a gravel road leads a little further up. From here you have a good view of Costa Calma and the Atlantic Ocean. On the other…
Today for a change, another route tested by the Palm Park. Here it goes up and down and it went very well.
This circular tour starts at the allsun Barlovento Hotel and leads across the palm park and the forest and finally through residential areas to the motorway.
Here it was planned to cross the highway. That's what komoot said. Unfortunately there is no longer a bridge here.
To get to the west side of the…
