It’s time to stretch your legs and discover the varied landscapes of Benelux. Grab your shoes, pack your backpack, make your picnic, but above all... put on your best socks!
We often dream about scenic landscapes while choosing our next adventure. However, the most important aspect to think about before setting off is having the right hiking equipment. This is essential for your comfort and enjoyment on the trails.
Hiking enthusiasts know the importance of the right shoes, the right backpack and the right nutrition, but one thing that can really make or break your hike is your socks! If you’ve ever experienced the pain of hiking with blisters, or walked miles with sweaty socks, then you know what we’re talking about. These problems are common, but they don't have to be. Your feet are your most valuable tools. To prevent pain and discomfort, Injinji socks are the optimum anti-blister socks. They enclose each toe with advanced fabrics that wick away moisture and avoid chafing.
Is your interest in toe socks from Injinji piqued or are you looking for a new pair? Then shop Injinji toe socks with a nice introductory discount here: barefootandmore.co.uk/injinjixkomoot
In this Collection, we take you on a journey to discover a wide variety of surprising landscapes. Of course, there are forests, rivers and fields, but you will also find a sea of sand, bogs worthy of Siberia and a labyrinth of rock.
These eight walks in the four corners of Benelux range from 10 to 21 kilometres (6 to 13 mi). Most are loops, while the start and end points of the linear routes are connected by train. This all makes it easy to reach the Tours by train. Take water and a snack with you, although you are never far from a village, a café or a small shop.
In theory, these walks can be done all year round. In practice, the period between spring and autumn offers greener landscapes and more pleasant temperatures.
Have fun exploring and blister-free hiking! Or ‘cloche’, as they say in Belgium!

This hike starts in the center of the small town of Nijmegen. Located to the east, the hill of Duivelsberg has a rich history, having played a role in Operation Market Garden, one of the largest operations carried out by the Allies during the Second World War and which took place in September 1944.
