Nieuwerkerken

Chose, you can leave at the church. Admire the growing fruit and grains through the plantations and fields. We pass the cave of Kozen. Along the nature reserve, De Zijpe. Looking for deer, we spotted them. Still able to take a picture from afar, but still. Enjoyed🥰

You can start this walk at different points. Domein Nieuwenhoven passes it twice, has ample parking, dining/drinking/playing facilities.

Nice walk in Nieuwerkerken. Normally this leaves from the church itself. Now we left somewhere along the side, so that we wanted to catch the mosquito forest. At one point we walked out of the mosquito forest. Navigation was not with us. But then had to keep right in the woods. Oops, mistake. Back straightened out. Indicate on route. Don't get adjusted right away.

At the school there is a bench with information about the route. You can park at the school (during school hours, more difficult place). There are signs with a picture on it that you can follow.
