The Barnim Nature Park is perfect for long cycling Tours with culture, cuisine and warm hospitality on the way.
Shaped by the Ice Age, this landscape boasts incredible geological diversity. Today, you’ll find extraordinary flora and fauna in the nature park, formed during the Saale Ice Age and shaped by glacial melt. You can listen to the calls of the cranes in spring and jump into a refreshing lake on hot summer days. In autumn, the forests transform with golden and red hues.
You can explore this protected natural area in many different ways. In this Collection, we’d like to introduce you to our most beautiful destinations, historical sites, bathing lakes and nature reserves and invite you to explore the diversity of Wandlitz by bike. Wandlitz is easy and quick to reach from Berlin by public transport, as the ‘Heidekrautbahn’ (RB 27) takes you comfortably to the centre of the nature park. You can travel directly to Wandlitz from Berlin-Krakow. All eight Tours in this Collection start and end close to regional railway stations, making it easy for you to get there and back.
