Countless small and large islands, some rocky, others covered in vegetation, and in between the blue shimmering water: the Finnish Archipelago Sea near Turku is a unique landscape with many cultural and natural highlights. Between the lively cities of Turku, Pargas and Naantali, you can explore traditional villages with colourful wooden houses and gentle, forested hills. Even in summer, pleasant temperatures prevail in southern Finland, making cycling a true pleasure. Thanks to the warming sun, countless bathing spots invite you to swim and marvel.

The cycling Tours around Turku, located two hours north of Helsinki, allow you to immerse yourself in the relaxed Finnish way of life. On the well-developed cycle paths, roads and bridges, you are often directly on the water. You pass through extensive forest areas, historical manors, past churches and cover some distance with ferries. Please note the timetables of the individual ferry connections.

In this Collection, we present five different Tours – some are easier and suitable for the whole family, while others require a bit of stamina. You can easily reach the start points in and around Turku by bus, car, ferry or, of course, by bike. If you don't want to bring your own bike, you can rent one in the cities.

From Germany, you can easily reach southern Finland by ferry. This way you save yourself an exhausting journey and can also take your own car and bike with you. From Lübeck, Finnlines passenger and freight ships depart daily, directly to Helsinki. From there, the journey to Turku is not far. You can find information about times and prices at finnlines.com

During the 30-hour crossing, you can get a head start and immerse yourself in Finnish culture. In addition to a comfortable cabin, the ship also offers a restaurant with Scandinavian delicacies and a sauna with a sea view. Your bike will be safely stored for you during the journey. Pack your bike bags and let Finland enchant you!
