Would you like to spend a night wild camping in the breathtaking beauty of Germany’s Black Forest? Then look no further! In this Collection, we present six of a total of 11 trekking camps that you can book from May to October.
Wild camping is prohibited in the Black Forest Nature Park Central/North, the Black Forest National Park and the Black Forest Nature Park South. But thanks to the trekking camps that have been set up, camping is now possible without any problems.
You can secure your campsite on the homepage trekking-schwarzwald.de. Here, you can also find out about each camp’s facilities. All trekking camps are located away from villages and can only be reached on foot. But with the booking confirmation, you'll also receive the exact directions on how to reach the camp safely. Remember to bring enough food and water. Of course, you must also take your rubbish with you.
This Collection also introduces you to a few more special places to sleep. How about a night in an 8,000-litre wine barrel with a view of the vineyards and the Rhine plain? Maybe you'll find a night in a shepherd's caravan surrounded by lush meadows and dark forests more tempting. Or do you like sleeping amidst airy heights? Then the Waldhisli tree house or the floating tree house near Freudenstadt would be just right for you.
Whatever you decide, you’ll experience a special night. Curious? Then take a look at the Tours and find your favourite place to sleep. We wish you lots of fun and above all – no matter where you spend the night with us – a good and restful experience.
