The foothills of the Monte Grappa Massif are an extremely fascinating area of small villages perched on hillsides, verdant vineyards and breathtaking views as far as the eye can see. Cycling through these hills and discovering the incredible heritage – in terms of of nature, history, culture, food and wine – is an experience not to be missed.
In this Collection, we present the entire catalogue of Tours proposed by Vagabond Bike Rent, our e-bike rental and bike Tour service based in Pederobba, among the splendid Treviso hills. From here, you can pedal throughout the region on secondary and hidden access roads and discover the five neighbouring areas that make it up.
The highlight is the famous Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO heritage site since 2019. Here, you can enjoy the wonderful views over the hills and their excellent food and wine, including the world-famous Prosecco DOCG.
Colli Asolani is also the home of delicious sparkling wine. The picturesque village of Asolo is a treasure trove of history, art and culture. Speaking of which, art and culture are also the undisputed protagonists of the Lands of Canova – the area between the slopes of the Grappa massif and the hills bordering Valcavasia. Antonio Canova, the celebrated sculptor and leading Neoclassicist was born here.
The Grappa massif, which imposingly dominates the plain below, was one of the most important sites of the Italian Wars. Today, it’s a mecca for local cyclists. Finally, the area between Piave and Montello, the corridor between the plain and the Belluno Dolomites, is the perfect setting for unforgettable cycling Tours.
Thanks to the region’s relatively mild climate, you can ride the Tours almost year-round. In summer, the hills shade you from the torrid heat, whilst they explode in colour and scents in spring. In autumn, the show of foliage will leave you breathless.
