Bayerischer Wald

For a long time I was today again on the Aschenbrennermarter. The run is very varied, scenically beautiful and you are almost alone on the road. You can also collect a few meters of altitude 😉👍. I couldn't see any wild boar today.

Unfortunately, the visibility was only moderately good today ... the Bayr is a holiday region. Vorwald, even if it is of no use at the moment ...

Briefly enjoyed the Rusel view (picture 3)...

The ascent, Run would be called too euphemistically, to Hirschenstein was tough. 5km only gradients up to 20% .... then to the rough Kulm and back to Krin. The downhill run wasn't boring either. I missed a fork in the path, then we continued off-grid.

Beautiful route from Steinach to Falkenfels, partly through beautiful, cooling forests. The temperature today was borderline.

Cold run from Süssenbach to Schillertswiesen with a crisp ascent 👍

Nice run on the Gaiskopf and the Breitenauer Riegel near Bischofsmais. At the Breitenauer Riegel there was also a mountain rescue exercise today. The helicopter (picture 37) wasn't exactly quiet...

... finally a run for Falkenstein again at the end of the trip to the castle ...

A (trail) run from Wiesent to Wörth, actually to the Himalaya Park (admission fee €10 for adults and therefore fenced in); there this fence let the runner bounce off elastically...

A traditional run on the Hirschenstein. In the Danube valley there was thick fog, in Grandsberg it was ☀️ ...

Today's mountain run, i.e. the paths were partly snow-covered or covered with slush ... as you can see in the photos ...

This running route is very entertaining and leads back to Schönfeld via the Siegenstein castle ruins.

A nice (difficult) tour on snow-covered and sometimes ankle-deep muddy paths around Süssenbach. The paths were sometimes difficult to see, sometimes there were cross-country passages on all fours.

A sunny run around Siegenstein to the ruins in Süssenbach. All of a sudden, the actual path in Treitersberg was blocked: "Private path, no passage allowed" (B 23).
