🇦🇹 Brandnertal - Hike + Bike

On the way home from the 5-day Brandnertal vacation, we did the Bürser Gorge. A very nice hike in a wild and romantic rugged gorge landscape, every now and then over bridges over the Alvier brook.

Small round trip after hiking. Mostly graveled on alpine and goods roads. No trails .... although the Brandnertal bike park there has a lot to offer, but that doesn't appeal to me. Today we had more luck with the weather again, partly sunny, a little warmer, no rain.

Downstairs alpine roads, above hiking trails S2 in partly moorland.

Another short afternoon lap after hiking during the day, weather slightly better but cool.

Very steep ascent on gravel paths, partly pretty close (take off, steer, traction, but the engine still ran very well), over 5 km a good 600 m with gradients of up to 23% (everything driven).

Then 7 km DH in one go.

Heavily cloudy, little rain, technically easy. Ideal for us today.

If the train takes you up, then yes, otherwise ...?

On our journey to Brand a small tour from Nenzing.

The Meng Gorge is not very long, but very beautiful and rustic.

The Alpencamping is upscale, has cool heavenly rooms and an extremely good restaurant, highly recommended.

The Welsch-Ramschwag castle ruins belonged to Ramschwag Castle near St.Gallen CH.

Easy round in the morning in a very beautiful mountain landscape around the Lünerstausee. The journey up with the LSB was free for us with the guest card. In the afternoon we went on the bike (see separate tour).

After the Lünersee hike in the morning, we went on a small but nice bike tour in the afternoon, mostly on gravel alpine roads and paths. Also leads through the large bike park Brandnertal. Quite a lot of HM on this short distance.

Mountain hike from the Palüd gondola lift via the Amatschonjoch 2028 m to the LSB Burtscha panorama lift.

A short bike tour between Zvieri and Znacht because it was still nice. We drove down the actually blocked construction route anyway, because it was already after work.

Today the weather was much nicer than expected, no rain.

2 intermediate ascents, mostly with a chairlift.

After the rain, a simple afternoon tour, mostly on alpine and forest roads. Recorded at the beginning of the tour from the LSB journey.

Unfortunately, we had to shorten the tour significantly due to fog and the coming rain.
