Here you can not only swim in the lake, but also kayak or improve your stand up paddle skills.To relax, there is a large meadow where you can lie comfortably in the shade on hot days. In the beach there are three more pools where you can swim and if you are hungry, you can eat at a kiosk or in a restaurant.The beach has opened daily from the beginning of May to the middle of September from 9am to 6pm. Admission costs CHF 5.00 for adults and CHF 3.00 for children.

Mountain Biking Highlight
The Cauma lake enchants with its turquoise blue color, the warm water and the idyllic location. Surrounded by dense forest and picturesque mountains, the lake is in the middle of nature.
In the lido by the lake you can swim in the pleasantly warm water, which can be up to 24 degrees. There is also a cozy restaurant at the bathing area and you can rent a boat.
The lido is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from mid-May to mid-October. Admission costs 12 CHF for adults and 6 CHF for children. Entry is free from the beginning of September.

The Klöntaler See lies at about 848 meters and is surrounded by breathtaking alpine panorama. At the lake there are two campsites with pebble beach. Here you can swim in the warm water of the lake, which can warm up to 22 degrees in summer.At the campgrounds you can eat or grill at the kiosk. Alternatively, there is also a hotel and restaurant on the lake. The picturesque lake invites you not only to swim, but also to stay longer - with pleasure even with overnight.

In Küsnacht you can refresh yourself in the cool water of the lake in summer. The Küsnachter Strandbad, also called "Sträme", is one of the most beautiful beach resorts on the Zürisee. Here you have all the advantages of a swimming pool including restaurant. Much better than in the outdoor pool, however, is the magnificent view of the Zürisee, which you can enjoy while bathing or from the restaurant terrace.
The lido is open daily from May to September until sunset. Admission costs 8 CHF for adults. Children up to 16 years are free of charge.

The Türlersee is very good to walk around with the stroller. It goes continuously near the shore around the lake and half of the circular route is in the shadow of the forest. There are numerous fishing jetties and swimming areas. However, we have found no bathing place, which would have been suitable for toddlers to splash.

The seaside resort Brüggli is a great destination or a nice place for a break on a longer bike tour. The freely accessible beach attracts with its large lawn and the flat shore, which allows easy access to the water. There are also fire pits if you want to grill.
If you are currently cycling for several days, you can also take the seaside resort as a stage destination, because there is a campsite next door where you can spend the night.

The largest lake in the Jura mountains, Lake Joux is a paradise for outdoor recreation. In summer, its altitude (1004 m) guarantees a pleasant freshness and the water reaches up to 24 degrees for ideal swimming. Athletes love to practice windsurfing, paddle, water skiing, kite surfing, canoeing, kayaking or pedal boating. Cycling and hiking complete the offer of activities to share with family or friends.
In winter, when conditions are right, the lake freezes completely, becoming the largest frozen area in Switzerland and Europe. Adults and children then take the opportunity to cross the lake on foot or to put on their skates.
