From the Gargano to Salento, Puglia is a veritable treasure trove: marvellous cities of art adorned with majestic cathedrals and imposing noble palaces, ancient castles steeped in history and mystery, fascinating villages perched on rugged cliffs, olive groves and vineyards as far as the eye can see, and countless heavenly beaches with clear water. Between sea, history, culture, taste and nature, Puglia never fails to amaze.

Thanks to cycling, it’s easy to explore the most beautiful places in this region slowly, immersing yourself in the scents of the Mediterranean maquis with breathtaking views at every turn, along ancient paths and quiet country roads. Here, each stage is a new, wonderful and unexpected experience.

We have collected nine must-do bike Tours in the region. Some are short and easy routes, suitable for the whole family. Others are challenging routes that require good training and a bit of challenge. You have the freedom to modify them to your liking, such as splitting them into two or more days, to better suit your needs and to take your time to enjoy the enchanting places you can visit. You can also combine several Tours to create a true cycle tour. The choice is yours!

Between one Tour and another, don't forget to stop and visit the villages, museums and cities of art that have made Puglia famous throughout the world. Don’t forget to taste the region's food and wine specialities: wherever you go, you’ll find new dishes, as well as the great classics of Puglian cuisine. And when it gets too hot, you can always go for a refreshing dip in the sea.

This is Puglia!
