The Extratour Bickener Ritterspuren picks up on the approximately 600-year-old history of the Lords of Bicken. It's been so long since they left their headquarters in the Aar Valley, and yet there are still traces of their several hundred years of presence everywhere.

After six previously unsuccessful attempts, on May 19, 1822, eight poor farmers and day laborers from Kombach attacked the mail coach that drove monthly from Gladenbach to Giessen.
