Zu Fuß und per Rad an der Ostsee entlang.
To get in the mood for the holiday, there is a sightseeing tour through Stralsund.
The ramparts give you a good idea of what historic Stralsund looked like and the route leads to the harbor.
I find the old Rathauspassage particularly interesting.
On KM 5-8 it always runs along the road through the suburb…

Today we start with a walk on the beach to the nature reserve Peninsula Devin. You can continue the walk on the beach a good bit in the NSG and a lap of honor on the Bakenberg with its 19m is highly recommended.
At the edge of the field you can currently follow the Deviner See on the NSG side quite well…

Get recommendations on the best single tracks, peaks, & plenty of other exciting outdoor places.
Today we went to the beautiful island of Rügen (greetings to Winni and Birgit).
With sunshine and by bike, yesterday's country road is much nicer.
From the NSG Kormoranenkolonie near Niederhof it goes, between reeds and fields, along the coast on a narrow path to Stahlbrode.
Get on the ferry and over to…

Today we went from Devin via Stralsund, across the inland first to Nisdorf.
These 30km were partly on the road with insufficient signage.
Up to this point the sky has cleared up and the coastal tour can begin.
First to the crane observation hut and then on to the port of Barhöft.
A beautiful section of the…

Today we had enough of Stralsund and the sea to say goodbye. 😎
Across the old town it goes back to the harbor with the Gorch Fock and the Ozeaneum.
The ruins of the St. Johannis Monastery look exciting, but unfortunately you can't get any further.
On the long promenade, you can go to the beach again.

After a somewhat turbulent start, the whole group is together in Zingst and there is soft ice cream and a great view of the kilometer-long beach from the pier.

From Wieck it goes along the reed belt of the Bodstedter Bodden to Born. On the way you can admire many beautiful reed houses with colorful front gardens.
After a somewhat longer refreshment, we went back through the forest on a firefly excursion.

This tour is just sick of the beach.
Through the lush green Darßer primeval forest to the wild, beautiful west beach, where we first jump into the refreshing water when the sea is calm.
The beach always runs south to Ahrenshoop, with its beautiful reed…

This time it goes by bike, again across the Darsser jungle to the Darsser Ort lighthouse.
In the morning it is still pleasantly empty here and you can enjoy the beach and the great circular path through the dune landscape (on foot).
Continue along the Fischland-Darß-Zingst circular route in the direction…

A breeze of the Baltic Sea - to Cape Arkona 🌞🌊
From Breeger Hafen we headed towards Cape Arcona today. At Breege, the beach is comfortably sandy and becomes stony and robust after a few kilometers + a free foot reflex zone massage also through the soles 😅.
At…

Today it was almost the entire Wittow Peninsula.
The part up to the north beach was a guided tour, every Wednesday at 10 a.m. there are guided hikes alternately by bike or on foot.
The sun comes out just in time for the start in Juliusruh and we drive to the Nobbin megalithic tomb.
In Vitt we visit the…

When the drizzle subsided, we first went to the Great Jasmunder Bodden.
Here you walk alternately in the forest and later along the water.
The sun broke through just in time for the great views of the ground.
From KM 10 the path runs along the dike.
As it is with…

With a cloudy sky, the ferry crossed the Bodden to Hiddensee.
Through the gray and blue, green shores appeared every now and then...
This will probably not work with the scary story career 😅.
Due to the different weather, the outward and return journeys were very contrasting and both beautiful in their…

Mostly on the Rügen circular route today it goes from Breege to Sassnitz.
Always along the Schaabe, you will pass 2 lakes, Spyker Castle and Bobbin.
The "shortcut" between KM 21-25 is bumpy cobblestone with more uphill than downhill.
At least you can enjoy the great landscape while pushing 😅.
Back on the…

Along the Schaabe to Glowe, from here the path unfortunately runs on the country road.
In the evening you have a great view of the sunset and Cape Arkona.
