    If you drive around the Innerstetalsperre, you will always come to beautiful swimming areas and beaches, where you can take a break. On hot days you can refresh yourself while bathing in the cool water of the reservoir.

    The diverse fauna and flora at the "Pearl of the Ammerland" is absolutely remarkable. The five and a half square kilometer lake is home to water feathers, strushes, cattails, water lilies, kingfishers, gray herons, osprey and many other species. In addition to bathers, who romp around in the Dreibergen and Rostrup spa parks in particular, the Zwischenahner Meer is also a very popular destination for sailors and windsurfers.

    In summer, the lake Steller invites you to take a bath, which creates a holiday feeling on the shore with its large white sandy beach. The lake is therefore perfect for a rest during a bike ride or a great destination. If you want to stay longer, you can spend the night at the campsite on the lake.Admission to the beach costs 3 euros for adults and 2 euros for children. Hours: 9am to 10pm.

    The "Kleine Moorrunde" of the NABU hiking guide system with approx. 7.5 km, which leads across the Butterweg, is an ideal hiking alternative. "Dee Bodderpad" (Low German) was once the shortest connection between Kirchwalsede and Rotenburg (Wümme). Many moor farmers then used this arduous way to sell their home-made butter in Rotenburg.
