The Black Forest peaks offer beautiful views, varied paths and delicious food in the huts on their slopes. With countless hours of sunshine during summer in Baden-Württemberg, it's the perfect time to head to the Black Forest and go on an epic hike.
In addition to routes on the Black Forest's highest peak, many other panoramic trails and vantage points reveal incredible views over the treetops of the Black Forest or down into the valleys.
Many of the Tours lead past huts and snack bars, where you can stop for refreshments. There, you'll find regional specialities that you should include on your itinerary. From time to time, you'll also have the opportunity to spend the night out, surrounded by beautiful nature. On the quality trail 'Wildcat Forest Experience,' you'll find cone-shaped tree houses a few metres above the ground where you can stay (just book in advance).
More and more people want to explore and experience the impressive nature in the Black Forest – whether on foot, by bike or on a mountain bike. We're only guests here in the Black Forest; the animals and plants are our hosts. That's why it's important to have #respectfornature for all nature lovers, because only with respect can we preserve the Black Forest in its beauty for generations to come.
Learn more about the #respectfornature initiative on our profile page at komoot.de/user/schwarzwaldtourismus or respekt-schwarzwald.info.
