On 19 August, up to 25 women will set off on the gravELLE x komoot Women's Weekender, following a route of 210 kilometres with 5700 metres of elevation gain through the Swiss National Park and the land of the marmots.
This is an open invitation to women, non-binary and transgender people. Meet us in Zernez, Switzerland, on 19 August at 9am to start the route together. This is not a race, but a shared bikepacking weekend, with the goal of reaching the finisher party on 21 August at 3pm.

Where could a country be wilder than around it's only national park? The "Swiss National Park" is indeed the only one of this category and is located in the south-east of the country in the canton of Graubünden on the border with Italy.
The region where the Weekender takes place is known for the incredible beauty of its nature and as the home of Switzerland's smallest language group, Romansh. Only just 60,000 people speak this language, yet it is an official national language.
The route consists mainly of a loop south of the Inn River, which rises in the Engadine before flowing into the Danube five hundred kilometres later in Passau. The start and finish of the route is Zernez. Zernez is also known as the "gateway to the Swiss National Park", has good transport connections and offers everything you could wish for before and after such an adventure - from a nice campsite to a delicious pizzeria.
Along the way you will experience the fascinating nature of the region, marvel at impressive mountains and rock formations, sweat on challenging climbs and enjoy flowing single trails that will put a never-ending smile on your face!
You can spend the nights at the official campsites in Scuol, Livigno and Zernez, as wild camping is strictly forbidden in the National Park. Alternatively you can find a hotel or guesthouse.
