Sächsische Schweiz per Rad und zu Fuß

On the Elbe Cycle Path today, from time to time we went cheerfully, from Bad Schandau to just before Decin and back.

For me, Saxon Switzerland is one of the most beautiful sections of the Elbe Cycle Path and you learn to appreciate it more by hopping from shelter to shelter. 😅

From Altendorf it's quite steeply downhill into the beautiful Sebnitztal and back again on the Malerweg.

We start today, again merrily wet, in Altendorf and on the panorama path we go through the Goldgrund valley to the ruins of the Bad Schandauer Schlossberg.

Today we went straight from Altendorf to the Kirnitzschtal on the Malerweg and there we should continue on the Flößersteig.

The narrow trail is classified as difficult and is currently hardly passable due to fallen trees and mud.
