We actually wanted to walk around the moor, but then the village flea market in Blunk stopped us from doing so. First impressions taken. A new attempt is already on the priority list.

A clear recommendation on a beautiful, sunny October day, even if the sections on the main roads spoil the positive impression, as there is a lot of traffic on a Sunday afternoon. But you can enjoy the peace and quiet in the forest by the lake!

The Hüttener Berge are always worth a trip, very extensive with varied hiking trails🤠

This bog is ideal for hiking and cycling. There is something for everyone on wide, paved paths, because the length of the route can be lengthened or shortened depending on your mood.

Small hike on Sunday afternoon followed by a detour to the Hof café "Kaffeeklatsch" on the Julianenhöhe in Hohn, just under 8 km from Fockbek. The visit is worthwhile because the cakes / tarts are cheap and good. Coffee is always served "full".

This interesting forest area really invites you for a walk or a hike. Apart from the fresh forest air one can further develop in various ways, e.g. at the Stone Age village. Unfortunately we did not come here for reasons of time ;-)

From the platform you have a great view over the dunes around St. Peter-Ording. It is worthwhile to stay here for a while.

There is much to see and learn about the past history (especially Iron Age) on this route. Since this is a popular destination, the idyll is disturbed by sometimes a lot of traffic on narrow streets, at least on Sundays. If you visit the Fischerstübchen to eat there, you will not be disappointed. Friendly staff and reasonably priced menu with good selection.
