With its clear rivers, rolling hills and picturesque villages, the magnificent landscape of the Ardennes on the French-Belgian border is the perfect escape from everyday life. Singletrack alternates with dirt trails and cycle paths, taking you to impressive vantage points and deep valleys. Jerome Clementz, together with Bosch E-Bike Systems, has put together four Tours around the beautiful Samoy Valley that give you an insight into the region’s potential.

These routes have been designed for intermediate level e-mountain bikers, meaning you should have experience riding singletrack. Two of the circuits start in Bouillon and two in Monthermé. It’s up to you where you spend the night; you’ll find numerous accommodation in the romantic villages in the Samoy Valley. You can also combine or shorten the routes – there are no limits to the fun you can have.

Thanks to electric assistance, you can breeze up the (sometimes steep) climbs completely relaxed and concentrate on enjoying the landscape. The region has plenty of Bosch charging stations so you won’t run out of power and the traditional restaurants keep your legs energised. The versatility of the area allows you to combine nature, cycling, fun and culture.
