    Kiesteich Bordenau

    The Bordenauer lake (also Bordenauer Kiesteich or Kieesteich Bordenau) is a former gravel pit in Neustadt am Rübenberge in the Hannover region. The Baggersee is located in the Leineniederung north of Bordenau, a district of Neustadt am Rübenberge. He was born during the construction of the B 6.

    The lake is located in a conservation area and is mostly surrounded by trees. He is cared for by the fishing club Neustadt am Rübenberge and used as angling waters. In 2011, eel, perch, bream, pike, carp, roach, rudd, tench and zander were reported from the lake.

    On the eastern shore is a lawn in a non-fenced area. This area is open to bathers. Even nude bathing is possible. Sanitary facilities are not available, a bathing supervision does not exist.

    Altwarmbüchener See

    The Altwarmbüchener See was built as part of the construction of the A37 "Moorautobahn" and was officially inaugurated in June 1982. Approximately 1/5 of the area is located on Isernhagener side, 4/5 of the area are in the area of ​​the city of Hannover. The lake forms the core of a recreational area: generous playgrounds and sunbathing areas offer citizens various opportunities for recreation while playing, camping, swimming, sailing, rowing and surfing.      The eastern service building also has a DLRG station and a kiosk with a beer garden. In addition, there are two jetties of the local water sports club.
