In summer, the lake is also suitable for swimming, if you need a cooling.At the middle pond there is a high ropes course, the lawn and toilets you can use for a fee of 1.50 euros, if you want to swim in the middle pond. It's open from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.

If you want to take a break at the Dippelsdorfer pond, the beach at the campsite offers. Here you can relax and bathe in the water of the lake. A nice change from cycling - especially on hot summer days.To the beach you reach the campsite. Admission costs 2 euros for adults and 1 euro for children. Hours: 9am to 5pm.

Speichersee Niederwartha

At the Speichersee Niederwartha you have the opportunity to swim in the summer. On the shores of the lake there is a large swimming pool, the reservoir Cossebaude. Here you can either swim in the clear waters of the lake or dodge on one of the swimming pools.The spa has opened in the summer daily from 9 to 19 o'clock and costs for adults 4 euro entrance. Children pay 2.50 euros.

At the gravel pit Leuben there is a waterskiing facility and a cozy beach bar. The Dresdner also like to come to the lake to bathe, although this is officially prohibited. If you also want to get your feet wet for a while, the eastern shore is recommended, because the beach is particularly flat here.
