Wunderschöne, mittelschwere und abenteuerliche Wanderungen mit Kinder und Hund.☺️☀️
Today we were at 1900m!
And the first section was really tough in terms of the ascent.
It is essential to use hiking shoes and, best of all, sticks.
Of course I forgot my new sticks at home 🤷♀️
It was really tough!
From the summit cross, many paths have already been expanded into wide hiking trails.
We started from the Egger Alm hiking car park in beautiful weather.
Then we went up to the Poludinger Alm without any major problems, except that the way could not be found at first, and treated ourselves to a delicious snack.
On the way back about 4 km in front of our parking lot there was a light thunderstorm…
Get recommendations on the best single tracks, peaks, & plenty of other exciting outdoor places.
A small but fine waterfall.
If you want to go there, you shouldn't be surprised ... you first have to walk across a campsite to get to the beautiful forest path.
You often come to the cool water to refresh yourself.
Later you have to climb properly to get to the very top of the waterfall.
You have to climb…
An evening round at 28 degrees around Lake Pressegger See is a must if you are on holiday here!
A very idyllic round.
A paradise for birds, lybelles of all kinds and many other insects. There is an atmospheric silence here.
Halfway through this round there is a small restaurant with a lake terrace.
Today we went through the Garnitzenklamm.
Very very nice!
We walked to the 5th bridge. Until then, it was an experience for me and my nerves again😅😂
But you can do it ... even with a fear of heights
Those who take children with them should be experienced hikers! We do not recommend dogs because there are…
Pack your swimming trunks, take your little sister… .🎶
We parked in a public parking lot in Neusach (hardly any available)
From then on it was long since the lake into the forest. You can get to the beautiful turquoise and warm water in many places.
At some point there will be a sign saying: from here…
What a way!
Don't underestimate the Austrian mountains!
We went the hunter trail, which was really steep up over hill and dale and over root trails. Absolutely not suitable for small children!
If you want to go to the ruin with small children, take the path with the blue dot!
But a great experience!
Today we walked up the Dobratsch with the clouds around noon.
Since we haven't experienced anything like this before, the short ones were really excited to be in the clouds ☺️
The paths are very wide but heavily graveled, some with large chunks. Sturdy shoes are always necessary in Austria. ( And indeed…
So... here we are again 🤣
I personally really liked this gorge. This time it was more about solid, rocky and rooted forest floor along the water.
Impressive waterfalls could be seen.
You could also take dogs here and this gorge is also easy to manage with small children.
At the end of the gorge we had to…
A very beautiful and interesting gorge. You walk the whole time over stable wooden walkways.
What I personally liked was that you couldn't see through it. So I managed to bravely walk through the gorge almost without a heart attack 😂😇. Some corners were very tight and we had to duck.
Small children and…
Today we were on the so-called Heidi Alm.
There are small cottages here and the area is very well suited to family vacations. There are a few small goats that can be fed (with grass, of course).
But to be honest, we don't know why it's called Heidi Alm here.😅
We imagine a Heidi Alm a bit different.
