Der 260 km² große Müritz-Teil des Nationalparks erstreckt sich zwischen den Städten Waren und Neustrelitz. In diesem Gebiet findet Ihr 24 Wanderwege mit einer Länge von 2 bis 14 km, die teilweise miteinander kombiniert werden können. Die Wanderwege verlaufen meistens auf unbefestigten Waldwegen, teilweise auf Pfaden und nur selten entlang befahrener Straßen.
