Since it is just good that the lake is monitored by the DLRG. In the coarse-grained sandy beach-same bay there is even a private area for non-swimmers, great for families. The lake, which is actually not a lake but a separate arm of the river, offers a large lawn with shady trees. If you prefer something more active, you can walk along the dike boardwalk, skate or cycle, or go rowing or canoeing. Bathers and water sports never get in each other's way. On the lake there are also dining facilities but if you prefer to take over, then you can also use one of the adjacent barbecue areas.

    Grambker See

    Bike Touring Highlight

The Grambker lake is tucked away in the midst of a village-like settlement in the district Burg - Grambke. This elongated narrow lake is one of the few naturally formed lakes in Bremen. As a relic of an old breakthrough of Hamme and Wümme by the Bremer dune, the Grambker lake represents the forerunner of the Lesum, which was able to create a river bed located north in historical times. The banks are overgrown with willows, tall poplars and old beech trees, giving the overall picture a park-like character. Röhricht is scattered on the shore.
