Enchanted forests, narrow paths, rugged rock formations, stunning views, vast mountain plateaus, deep river valleys – all this can be experienced on the hiking trails in the Éislek.
The north of Luxembourg captivates with vast landscapes paired with rich cultural heritage and with breathtaking natural beauty. As one of the Top hiking regions in Europe, many of these unspoilt natural landscapes can be discovered by foot on around 1900 km of hiking trails.
With over 200 hiking trails to choose from, you will find some hiking tips for the region in this brochure. Throughout the Éislek region, easier and more challenging circular and long-distance hiking trails guarantee a real hiking experience.
Each hiking trail tells its very own story. Along the way, you will find varied flora, many paths over near-natural surfaces such as the typical slate rock, breathtaking views and cultural highlights such as castles and fortresses.
At the end of the tour, many hiking trails offer refreshment stops where the hearty regional products of the region can be tasted, bringing the hiking day to a perfect end.
