Whether you've always been a fanatical hiker or whether the pandemic of the past two years has made you put on your walking boots more often, you know as well as we do that hiking is wonderful.
To celebrate this fantastic pursuit, outdoor brand deuter has put together this Collection of 12 easy entry-level hikes between 5 and 10.5 km (3–6 mi), each starting from a city train station. If you really want to turn it into an adventure, then you can stay overnight and hike back the next day. No time to stay the night? No problem. As each Tour finishes near a station, you can simply take the train back. If you’re feeling super keen, you can also walk the entire route and back in the same day.
Besides good shoes, a backpack is an indispensable part of your outdoor equipment. Whether you’re going for a short walk locally or a longer hike at the weekend with friends, a good rucksack contributes to your comfort and enjoyment. deuter is always happy to help you find the right (hiking) gear!
We have a suitable backpack for every route and every hiker, from the nature lover and sociable hiker to the sporty and long-distance walker. The deuter Futura and the new Speed Lite are ideal for your next hike and with these backpacks, deuter shows that a hiking backpack does not have to be a stiff, bulky and inflexible bag. The Futura is the classic among our hiking backpacks, with a modern, fresh look and a perfect fit. The Speed Lite is a lightweight backpack, ideal for weekend hikes and short day trips.
Up for an adventure? In the deuter Tours below, you’ll find ideal length hikes with plenty to see and even the option for an overnight adventure.
