The weather was amazing again today. But I tended to avoid off-the-beaten track trails because of the wet. At km 29 I actually wanted to drive back on the opposite side of the slope, but a farmhouse there seemed so suspicious 🙈 that I turned back umgekehrt

Wonderful 🥰 top lap, my biggest tour I've ever done. The altitude is too low, my second cell phone showed 2900 m (too high), the planning 2700 m (seems realistic), probably because of a few short GPS dropouts due to tunnels or rock faces.

Four crisp ascents, but then of course also down again and again

Very nice tour in home areas of Toni and Jupp.

Ideal weather, paths and trails mostly quite dry again, with the exception of small local muddy spots. With an unavoidable share of tar roads

The Chrüzegg will never be my favorite now, but so far it is OK. The paths along the Aabachtobel towards Uznach are

First tour after our wonderful Iceland vacation.

The great fun at home is not there yet; the forests, trails and mountains are beautiful and great as usual, but something new and cool is (still) missing 😉

    Something was new:

I took the tour directly from the new and basically cool "Discover" function in

Very nice, varied summer tour with the theme "Hüslibrugg" (covered wooden bridge), driven in the cantons of SG-AR-TG.

Drive to a total of 11 Hüslibruggen and connect them on beautiful, varied paths. In the Wissbach Gorge (east) there is currently a very rough diversion due to construction work, but this

Since I now have 2 batteries (650), I consciously went on an altitude hunt today. 6 ascent zones of around 400 m each then result in a total of 2,400 m. And then, of course, rush back down again. brake ...

Battery consumption around 155% (3,000 hm would have been possible there). Battery change at 49

Nice round in warm weather. Battery residual current for 8 km, spare battery dragged along for the cat, but better than falling into cold water ...

A brand new charcoal pile has been set up at the Sirnach observation tower and will be "put into operation" tonight (festival). If something is very special, you rarely see it.

Wasn't the perfect tour now, but it worked for the coming rain.

Larger parts on tar, directly after the Chindlistei also a short trail S4 upwards (push and carry).

First tour with a new second battery and a new backpack to match.

The first battery (old and no longer full capacity) was changed at 95% consumption after 46 km and 1,200 hm, the new battery then only needed about 10%. I probably wouldn't have had to change anything with a new battery, batteries are 650s

Yesterday, despite the nice weather, because of the very strong wind 🌬🌬 no meaningful and comfortable biking was possible, so I went to fitness and mowing the lawn ...

So I made up the tour today. Towards the end of the tour there was an increase in clouds and a rapid wind, as well as the first small

Morning lap with sun 🌞 (still) without rain.

Owing to the muddy ground, rather driven on the cleanest paths possible. Shortly before the end of the tour, the first raindrops came again ...

The radar only showed very small rain cells ... in practice it rained almost the whole lap. Once again, very often you cannot rely on the rain radar!

At the beginning it started to drip, then it rained light to medium, everything easy, no problem. Towards the end it got really strong, funny and shortened

Today we did an often rather flat tour along the river. With arrival, detours and driving home, however, a few meters of altitude were destroyed.

Along the river I drove some long, extraordinarily beautiful single trails that meander through the bushes (e.g. km 21.1, 27.7, 28.7, 29.9).

Meanwhile, the paths are all extremely dry.

Today a quasi two-part round in the style / \ / \ / \ _____, first part very hilly and a lot of vertical meters (around 20 km 870 m ascent), second part then completely flat in the Rhine Valley and along the Rhine dam.

The weather was nice and a little warmer, in the Rhine Valley a few negligible raindrops

Once again along the Sitterstrandweg and through the city of St.Gallen.

Sitterstrandweg partly with signs "hiking trail closed", but you can get through without any problems (paths slipped a bit).

The weather was nice, but still a little bit up and therefore a bit fresh.

This is my tour # 500 in Komoot.

Now that the snow is gone again and the paths are dry as far as possible, today another quick round in the home area, everything on permitted paths.

    Note:

In the St.Gallen forest area, the ban on biking on single trails in the forest is increasingly being signaled (and, to my knowledge, also controlled).

First half of the tour flat along the Old Rhine and Rhine. Second half of the tour in the hilly Appenzell Vorderland.

An official bike trail at km 23.1 was completely sacked due to forest vehicles, pushing up about 300 m, difficult even on foot.

Another trail (protective forest trail) was signaled very

Mostly easy to drive but beautiful round in a new area for me, in a home area of A.Villiger, thanks Toni for the inspirations 👍

Several, for the most part, easy-to-ride S1 trails, some of which are actually just S0 trails, but still very beautiful. Weather sunny with cloudy clouds and 6-12 ° C.

Repetition of the tour from March 13th, 21st, which was difficult to drive due to strong storm winds.

Today "only" a very brisk westerly wind, so today the average is 2.2 km / h faster. A little more would be possible with no wind.

Tour is without great demands and almost without single trails.

    So, and
