Today another tour abroad, this time to Germany, from Moscow SH-CH.

The tour was a bit ambiguous, on the one hand beautiful paths and trails and sights, on the other hand larger, quite boring to bland sections. Off the beaten track paths are often in very bad shape.

Beautiful bike tour on easy-to-drive paths in the Vorarlberg mountain area right next to the Rhine Valley. With a few meters of altitude and a short hike section to the Schönen Mann summit.

The Käsespätzle 🍽🍺 in the Emserhütte were extremely tasty and well deserved.

Round with 2 distinctive climbs. For me a new record for HM. At the end the battery was (deliberately) totally empty.

Pleasure tour in the morning, on the right slope down the valley to Brixlegg am Inn. Then on the left slope via Reith i.A. back up the valley to Inneralpbach, and then back to Alpbach on the right slope. Again and again with beautiful views into the valley.

After the morning / noon hike, the obligatory afternoon bike tour. Two steep climbs, two short sliding sections.

Small round trip after hiking. Mostly graveled on alpine and goods roads. No trails .... although the Brandnertal bike park there has a lot to offer, but that doesn't appeal to me. Another short afternoon lap after hiking during the day, weather slightly better but cool.

Very steep ascent on gravel paths, partly pretty close (take off, steer, traction, but the engine still ran very well), over 5 km a good 600 m with gradients of up to 23% (everything driven).

Then 7 km DH in one go.

Classic circuit around the imposing Kanisfluh massif, around the top and back below.

First ascent 860 m in one piece on 7.5 km route, average 12.5 km / h, battery consumption 51%. Total consumption at the end of the tour 73% (650cc).

Crunchy altitude profile, almost 1000 meters of altitude on a 9 km route, but then a 12 km descent in one piece ... all on gravelly, quite steep forest roads.

After the rain a short lap on a rather good surface.

Cozy "along the Rhine" tour from Stein am Rhein to and with Rheinfall, back side (partly D).

Many beautiful hiking trails along the Rhine are, understandably and unfortunately, locked for bicycles. On the next adjacent streets you can see the Rhine only now and then ....

Wonderful tour on both sides of the Rhine along. Partly comfortable, sometimes quite demanding. Approximately a third single trails S0-S2 (tight, tricky, rooty), partly very directly on the river, not without, not suitable for everyone. That's why the relatively low average.

Battery consumption 650er about 55%.

Under the horn railway brutally steep tar run, saddle to bottom, extreme test for the brakes (my rear brake lever was due to overheating at the end of attack, after cooling good again).

Just very nice this tour, great area!

Cozy tour in company, without trails.

Super nice solid morning tour. A lot of tarred roads, beautiful gravel roads, no single trails.

The last 10 km from B to A are missing, unfortunately Komoot has hung up ....

Super nice round in the hills. But 4x reversed and adapted route because of impassable or unsafe trails, therefore more done than planned. My tip: avoid black roads if not secured.

In the area Freibergsee partly problematic because not for bikes approved trails (many people). Otherwise very nice.

Comfortable tour to check on the waterfowl 🦆 and turtles 🐢 - unfortunately we only saw Caro's beautiful turtles 🐢 from a little further away. Due to the loss of a component, we drove twice along part of the route to search, but still couldn't find the missing part...
